In a distant galaxy not unlike our own sometime in the future, present, or past the space smuggler was the most celebrated and crucial role for keeping the galactic citizens supplied with the essentials for keeping the hopes of a revolution against the tyrannical galactic overlord Weener Zood. Over the last decade or so Zood and his army of military zoodbots had all but wiped out any resistance the underground had mustered and outlawed any kind of art, music, dancing, self-expression, or fun of any kind. Zood’s right hand enforcer and chief commander of the zoodbots, Davebot Claude Van Damlaw, kept tight control of any public anti-zood expression of any kind with zoodbot patrols around the clock. Only Zood approved literature, art, music, clothing, even language was allowed and all transactions throughout the galaxy had to be made with gold DeZoods, the official currency of the galaxy issued by the GZR (Galactic Zoodian Reserve).

It was in this hopelessness that a spark was ignited and a legend began to grow. A name was becoming known as the space troubadours and galactic bards started singing of the ever elusive and rebellious space smuggler Captain Zoney Jones of the S.S. Odd Junky who was gathering a growing number of space smugglers that provided the galaxy with essentials such as fashionable funky garments, headphones, solar powered batteries, scan shielding sunglasses, and most important of all Smuggler’s Booze, a magical elixir that had once been enjoyed by all but was now a scarce commodity due to Zood’s strict prohibition laws.

In Space Smuggler Blooze you are a young novice straight out of smuggler school ready to step up and do your part for the cause. With nothing but your class ZZ Bottom S.S. Caboose Toot ship you take your first mission to pick up solar batteries along the route to the outer planets and get them through dangerous asteroid fields, planetary approaches guarded with motion detection barriers, lasers, cannons, rockets, space mines, and military ground unit zoodbots. Finally, you have to smuggle the solar powered batteries to Swimjizz “Juice” The Fluxor, Electrolight Timewarp Keytarist for Unker Nesticle And The Derky Nerple Band, the galaxy’s ultimate pro Zoney voice on pirate radio, and secret double smuggle agent for the resistance. If you are to succeed in this mission Swimjizz will provide the details for your next mission.

Through 16 levels of increasingly challenging assignments you will need to collect as many gold DeZoods and contraband items to purchase modifications and faster and more capable smuggling ships while avoiding numerous hazards and enemy zoodbots with fast 2d scrolling action and strategic use of resources and ships to best prepare for each levels unique gauntlet. It is your goal and personal mission to live on in songs and legends as one of the great hero smugglers of the galaxy. This status is all ultimately boiled down to your score. There are many strategies to get points, be the best and you will stand at the top of the scoreboard for all the other smugglers to envy.
